Grade My
Homepage
Paste your developer-tool homepage. Find out whether a developer instantly gets what it is and can see a path to first value — graded the way devs actually skim, not the way a CRO consultant grades a marketing site. We grade the page and the clichés, never you.

What the 200ms Window grades
A developer decides whether to stay on your homepage in the first few seconds. They skim for three things: what is this, does it work, and how do I start. Generic CRO graders miss this entirely — a page can ace “hero benefit, single CTA, trust badges” and still lose every developer because it tells instead of shows. Here are the 8 criteria, weighted so the dev-bounce signals count most:
- One-line value-prop clarity (heaviest — this is what makes a developer stay or leave)
- 'What is this' in one screen (heaviest — this is what makes a developer stay or leave)
- Code / visual proof above the fold (heaviest — this is what makes a developer stay or leave)
- Visible quickstart / time-to-first-value
- No demo-gating before value
- Copy concreteness (vs vague adjectives)
- Dev-credible social proof (vs logo soup)
- Scannability & mobile legibility
Built by GTM Labs. The grade is a directional read of the page's above-the-fold content, not a full conversion audit. Read more on developer marketing.
